Wedding FAQs

Do you offer black and white?
Yes we do, however black and white pictures are not a standard and must be ordered A La Carte (outside the package).

Do you have a time limit for my wedding?
We only book one wedding a day, and therefore have no limit on the time we work. We usually finish a wedding when all events are over such as, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss, first dance, or anything else you may have planned.

Can you shoot candid pictures at my wedding or reception?
Our intention is to make every frame count, therefore most of the photos that we take are formal wedding photos with family, friends and wedding party, as you desire. We do photograph you walking down the aisle, "the kiss", and announcement of "Mr. and Mrs.". We also shoot any "candids" we see, if possible, during the reception film permitting.

Can we trade out or substitute pieces of the wedding package?
No, this policy keeps our pricing affordable, however we do offer many products A La Carte you may wish to add to your package.

Do you "touch up" my photos?
We work very hard to ensure that your pictures are of the finest quality available. Remember that our intent is to make every frame count; however touching up a photo is possible, at a cost of $75 per half-hour of work.

How long does it take after the ceremony for pictures?
We feel your pictures are the most important. We set up, light test, and focus each shot to ensure you the best photos possible. The time depends on how many photos need to be taken and the number of people in them. You should plan at least 45-60 minutes after the ceremony for photos. We encourage pre-shooting that will help with time if you have a large wedding party or family.

Where and when do I get my engagement picture done?
We do all the engagement pictures in our studio in Placerville. You can make an appointment anytime after you book your wedding. If you want any enlargements of these photos you need to take it at least three weeks before your wedding.

How long does it take to get my pictures back?
It takes about ten days to get our proof package back after your wedding. We like to give you 3-4 weeks to make your selections. After receipt of your proof selection it usually takes 4-8 weeks to get your finished wedding album.

Do you have to feed us?
No, we will eat only when invited to do so, but we do require a place to sit and place our camera equipment.
